The materials in Civil Rights and Constitutional Litigation are presented in the two parts: constitutional litigation (Part One), and civil rights (Part Two). Because these sections are distinct and self-contained, teachers can use this book to create a course in constitutional litigation, a course in civil rights policy or statutory enforcement of civil rights, or a course examining the intersection of constitutional litigation and legislative policy on civil rights. The Third Edition is also structured so that a professor can pick and choose from among different chapters or sub-chapters in order to create his or her own course.
