This book presents over 800 different pediatric cases and more than 1,100 imaging scans drawn from the medical records of a large university hospital. The cases cover all anatomic sites and all diseases seen in pediatric patients and are presented in clinicopathologic form, with accompanying diagnostic images. Each case begins with the chief complaint, history, and physical examination from head to foot, and then presents laboratory data, diagnostic images, and the diagnosis. This case study format offers valuable instruction in interpreting imaging findings in the context of the patient history, physical examination, and laboratory results. Wherever available, the findings at operation, biopsy, and necropsy are also included. All cases are cross-referenced by symptoms, signs, and diagnosis.
