The authors wrote this text in response to the absence in the market of a text that would meet the needs of finance majors, but would still be accessible to all students. In many cases, as many as 80 per cent of undergraduate corporate finance courses are filled with non-finance majors who are either intimidated by this course or who don't understand why they have to take the class (or both ). This text addresses the challenges all professors face: keeping students at varying degrees of ability and interest motivated and invested in the material.
