All of the TNM staging information included in this Sixth Edition is uniform between the AJCC (American Joint Committee on Cancer) and the UICC (International Union Against Cancer). Organised by disease site into 48 comprehensive chapters, this new edition has completely revised and updated the old classification system to provide a new, evidence-based guide to cancer staging. This new TNM Classification will be implemented world-wide on January 1st, 2003.
