1998 Yearbook of Family Practice

This yearbook incorporates recent advances in medical practice and areas of activity such as HIV infection, clinical practice policies, health economics and cost containment. It considers making clinical practice evidence-based, examining intervention studies - randomized controlled trials (RCTs). At the conclusion of each chapter introduction, the abstract numbers in that chapter reporting RCTs are listed. The commentaries point out strengths and weaknesses of the studies that are abstracted. Also included are case series, case reports, rigorous reviews and editorials.
