This book is divided into two parts, with the first dealing with the examination of the evolution of the concept- human rights, while focussing on the period since the 1948 declaration. In this part, there is an examination of the strands of debates that have characterized the evolutionary nature of the concept, given the socio-political and economic changes since the second world war.
