Nuclear Structure 98 Gatlinburg, Tennessee, August 1998

The Nuclear Structure 98 conference was the latest in a series of biennial meetings in North America dedicated to the review and discussion of the latest experimental and theoretical developments in the field of nuclear structure physics. Among the topics covered at this conference were nuclear models and effective interactions, physics of extreme isospin and nuclear structure with radioactive ion beams, exoctic shapes and high-spin phenomena, collective modes of excitation, interface of nuclear structure and astrophysics, and future detector systems and experimental tools.
