Funding and Appropriations in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) authorises new funding for numerous existing discretionary grants and other programs and activities. PPACA also creates a number of new discretionary grant programs and activities and provides for each an authorisation of appropriations. Funding for all of these programs and activities is subject to action by congressional appropriators. This book summarises all discretionary spending provisions in PPACA that authorise appropriations for grant programs and other activities.
