Principles of Condensed Matter Physics

The branch of physics which uses three basic laws namely electromagnetism, statistical mechanics and quantum mechanics, to understand the physical and behavioral properties of condensed matter is known as condensed matter physics. Condensed matter physics uses the elements of nanotechnology, chemistry, biophysics, materials science, etc. It has application in the areas of laser technology, quantum computation and semiconductor devices among many others.
