This tenth edition of the Accounting Desk Book has its origins in two sources: First, the passage of time has required the updating and substantive revision of the material from prior editions. Second, the inclusion of new topics in this edition is necessary because accounting and associated disciplines--e.g. finance, management, taxes, etc.--are dynamic areas of business administration with an increasing number of new practices, standards, rules, regulations, technical terminology and knowledge.
