Foundation Studies for Caring Using Student-Centred Learning

Evidence-based practice, practice-centred learning, and theory and practice integration are core principles for Common Foundation Programmes as laid-out by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of the UK. However, making these principles a reality for students has always been a challenge, in part because of the limited range of textbooks available. Foundation Studies for Caring: Using Student-Centred Learning is an innovative and wide-ranging new text which uses scenarios to teach students about both the concepts of caring and their application.
