Systems Network Architecture A Tutorial

This book offers a clearly presented and up-to-date framework of IBM's SNA and a substantial description of all its important facilities. The history and overall concepts of SNA are first described to create an overall context for understanding. Subsequently each layer is treated in depth in a tutorial style which aims to encourage understanding rather than as a comprehensive reference-manual. The material has been developed for courses and seminars given by the author over several years in the industry.
