"This book presents advances in stem cells-based biosystems. This book covers a wide spectrum in this field. Therefore, the book includes three major parts, comprised of ten chapters. The first part (Chapter one to three) introduces the traditional isolation and culture methods of stem cells, the culture of stem cell through biomaterials, and the scaling up of stem cells. The second part (Chapters four through eight) includes the advanced biomaterial-based technologies for the fabrication of biosystems. Biomaterials provide a versatile of properties to regulate the behaviors of stem cells.
