Ajcc Cancer Staging Manual

The revised, updated Fifth Edition brings together all current information on cancer staging developed by the American Joint Committee on Cancer in cooperation with the TNM Committee of the International Union Against Cancer. This manual provides reliable, consistent guidelines that clinicians can confidently use to determine the extent of neoplastic diseases at all anatomic sites.The Fifth Edition features new chapters on staging of fallopian tube cancer and gestational trophoblastic disease, as well as extensively revised staging recommendations for cancers of the prostate, testis, other urologic sites, and head and neck. New information is also presented on prognostic factors, including serologic and pathologic findings. The manual includes abbreviations and symbols of all patient data so that they can be easily transferred to the patient's chart and recognized by all health care providers.
