Medical Nutrition and Disease

The book format's has been designed to introduce basic nutrition assessment and nutrition during the life cycle, followed by nutritional management of various diseases and fundamentals of enteral and parental nutritional support. Students benefit because the book can be used for more than one course over several years. For each chapter, lecture notes and clinical cases are provided, thereby reinforcing chapter content and providing practical approaches to patent care. Each clinical case includes a list of questions followed by answers, offering the reader an opportunity to think through the questions and then read the answers.
