Clinical Urogynecology

This is a comprehensive text and reference of urogynaecology. It covers the three main topic areas of female incontinence; urodynamic testing; and pelvic organ prolapse, and includes high quality surgical and anatomic art. The book is organized for ease of use. It follows the logical decision making process from basic concepts through to clinical and urodynamic evaluation, management and treatment. The editors have included discussion of special conditions and hot topics, such as geriatric considerations, psychosocial and economic issues and behavioural treatments. It is divided into four main basic science; valuation; management of genuine stress incontinence and genital prolapse; and specific conditions. The basic science section includes chapters on anatomy, physiology and epidemiology. The second section describes evaluation of lower urinary tract complaints. Section three explores various management techniques, including detailed "how to" surgical procedures. The last section deals with special conditions and situations in urogynaecology.
