Interventional Computed Tomography

This book concentrates on treatment; the authors detail procedures for periradicular, disk, and other orthopaedic therapy; treatment of cancer and cancer pain; neurolysis in vascular disorders; fluid problems and urinary disease; and the great promise of interventional MRI, ultrafast Cine CT, and CT fluoroscopy. In addition, the book opens with an extensive, 60 page atlas of diagnostic procedures, including CT–guided biopsies, that feature both general techniques and specific illustrations by organ system. Within each chapter, the authors are careful to review anatomy, pathology, symptomatology, examination, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, and complications, as well as techniques in great detail ("how we do it"), superbly illustrated, with lists of instrumentation and medications.
