The exquisitely detailed drawings of frozen sections by Prof. Robert Wetzel have been adapted for presentation with excellent CT and NMR images. The Atlas correlates axial, sagittal and coronal anatomical sections of the head and body with computerized and MR tomographic sections to provide a quick reference to compare topographic anatomy with sectional images. Photographs of the brain in axial and coronal planes complement the anatomical drawings. All legends are brought up to the latest anatomical nomenclature, and were translated from the German into English. The atlas is divided into two major sections: Section 1 contains, aside from whole body sections of general interest, sections of the cranial and adjacent cervical regions which are of interest mainly to the neuroradiologically oriented specialist. Section 2 contains sectons of the trunk, with the female and male pelvis presented separately. A very impressive work of high utility. No bibliography or index. Oversized 12x16
