Automated Smith Chart, Version 3.0

This software and user's manual for version 3.0 of Automated Smith Chart aims to help readers design impedance-matching circuits with speed and accuracy. Compatible with Windows 95 and Windows NT, the 32-bit code has been enhanced with: a built-in optimzer function that automatically completes circuit designs based on a user-specified VSWR envelope; design aids, such as an easy quick transmission line/stub design tool and automated design overlays for 2-element ell-configuration matching circuits; menu-accessible HELP file; detailed graphical interface; an on/off trace toggle that reduces chart clutter; and input/out features.
