College Health

This issue provides a glimpse into important health considerations of today's college student and looks at medical and psychological concerns that influence students today and for decades after their college experience. Included are common medical problems (asthma, infectious mononucleosis, urinary tract infections, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disorders), sexuality (contraception, sexually transmitted diseases), gynecology (menstrual disorders, HPV infections and Pap smears), common behavioral concerns (learning disability, ADHD, mental disorders, substanceabuse disorders), and preventive health (immunizations). This collection of articles also addresses sports medicine on the campus and issues that concern the male college student.
