Health Insurance Issues, Challenges and Perspectives

In this book, the authors present current research in the study of the issues and challenges of health care insurance from across the globe. Topics discussed in this compilation include the assessment of the efficiency of hospitals in Botswana; the public long-term care insurance system in Japan; an examination of service delivery when there is an integration of health insurance and care provisions; estimating the total health expenditure on households by sources of financing and providers in Gambia; and, social and private insurance systems in The Netherlands.
