Analytical Biotechnology

Biotechnology is the science of developing or modifying products or processes using organisms and living systems for a specific purpose. This field encompasses the use of artificial selection and hybridization to improve practices like domestication of animals and cultivation of plants. There are various branches of biotechnology such as, red biotechnology, bioinformatics, white biotechnology and blue biotechnology, among many others. Bioanalysis is a sub-discipline of analytical chemistry. It is involved in the quantitative measurement of xenobiotics and biotics in biological systems.
