Overview

Electrochemistry can be an elegant and essential support to synthetic inorganic chemistry. However, it is often perceived as a difficult technique. Electrochemistry is the area of chemistry dealing with the interconversion of electrical energy and chemical energy. There are many applications of this in evryday life. Batteries, control of corrosion, metallurgy and electrolysis. This content has been divided into eleven chapters. Chapter one begins with introduction to two different approaches of nitrogen isotope analysis: natural abundance or tracer methods. The natural abundance of the stable istope of nitrogen can provide critical insights into processes acting on a variety of scales with minimal alteration an dmanipulation of the system being studied. Second chapter describe about kinetics and mechanism of the reaction between chronium (III) and 2,3-dihydroxybenzoic acid in weak acidic aqueous solutions. Third chapter studies on synthesis and spectral characterization of some transition metal complexes of azoazomethine derivative of diaminomaleonitrile. Fourth chapter reviews about Chromatographic separations in inorganic electrochemistry. Fifth chapter covers the most recent and novel applications of ALD used for the preparation of chiral nanosized metal oxide films using chiral SAMs. Sixth chapter is synthesized a Pd (II) complex with the different crystal system from which is reported in the reference and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV, TG, and powder X-ray analysis. Seventh chapter determines the values for several thermochemical parameters of adducts of some transition metal (II) bromides with quinoline. Eight chapter review attempts to highlight the new findings concerning ionic liquid properties. Solid state characterization of sodium eritadenate has been described in chapter nine. Tenth chapter provides the details on S-triazine-based ligand and its metal complexes. In last chapetr, we performed the systematic study focusing on the solvent effect on a series of Grignard-type reactions.
