Computing and Random Numbers

The random numbers are of great importance in today's interconnected world, and aside from the algorithms for generation of random numbers. This edition covers different topics from computing with random numbers, including random number generators, random variables techniques, computing applications of random numbers and modeling and simulation applications of random variables. Section 1 focuses on random number generators describing hardware-accelerated scalable parallel random number generators, hardware efficient random number generator for non-uniform distributions with arbitrary precision, true-randomness and pseudo-randomness in ring oscillator-based true random number generators, and random numbers generated from audio and video sources.
