Nutraceuticals are “naturally derived bioac- tive compounds that are found in foods, di- etary supplements and herbal products, and have health promoting, disease preventing and medicinal properties.” Plant derived Nu- traceuticals/functional foods have received considerable attention because of their pre- sumed safety and potential nutritional and therapeutic effects. The aim of this book is natural products as nutraceuticals and their techniques in this subject. The book will be appropriate as a guide for students.
