The World in My Hands

A dark satire mirroring Bangladesh's economy, The World In My Hands tells the story of two old friends whose lives tumble as the country enters a state of Emergency.Hissam, a newspaper editor struggling to make ends meet, begins to question the choices he made. He wonders if sticking to his dreams and his work matters nearly as much a big pay check and promotion. After all those are what put his old friend Kaiser where he sits right now, the seat of a wealthy real estate developer. To top that off Kaiser even married the woman Hissam loved and continues to love. Hissam's questions and doubts follow a scenario which puts the country in a state of Emergency, backed by its military. In the days that pass Hissam and Kaiser watch their roles interchange, and their lives change forever.
