A Dictionary of Literary Pseudonyms in the English Language

Dictionary of Literary Pseudonyms is a comprehensive dictionary of pseudonyms used by literary writers in English from the early 17th century to the present day. It covers American, Canadian, British, and British Commonwealth writers of not just the novel, poetry and drama but also writers in such genres as science-fiction, crime and mystery, romance, etc.There are two sequences: Part I -- which includes more than 12,000 entries -- is an alphabetical list of pseudonyms followed by the writer's real name.Part II is an alphabetical list of writers cited in Part I -- more than 7,500 writers are included -- providing biographical details followed by pseudonyms used by the writer and book titles published under those pseudonyms.Dictionary of Literary Pseudonyms will, we believe, become the standard reference work on the subject for academics, students, and public, high school, and college/university librarians.
