Androgenic Disorders

This text discusses the clinical evaluation, interpretation and treatment of androgen disorders in women from a clinical, biochemical, cellular, pathological and pathophysiological perspective. It begins with an overview of manifestations of androgenic disorders. It then proceeds to explore the clinical evaluation of women with an androgenic disorder, biochemistry and measurement of androgens in women, androgen action at the cellular level and androgens in infancy, childhood and adolescence.
