Arthur is probably Britain's best-known and most-loved cat. Definitely a star, on television he has delighted cat lovers by introducing his favourite Food - first Kattomeat, in the early days and then Arthur's when it was specially re-named alter him in 1992. A sickly stray, he was rescued by the Wood Green Animal Shelter, adopted and nurssed back to health by Ann Head and then, of course, went on to become a national celebrity.
