Chains of Life

A collection of poems and lyrics describing relationships in the authors life, from very superficial to the more meaningful. Written over a period of years, many are about specific incidents or people that crossed the author's path while he was traveling as a musician/entertainer. The book is divided into six sections, from threads to cables and chains which represent the relative closeness or strength of the ties to the various personalities. Length of poems range from just a few lines up to several pages, and include such characters as a waitress, children eating in a cafe, love affairs good and bad, friendships and more. The events in several of the poems, although based on real people are pure fabrication. The book ends with poems dealing with family relationships
