About the Author Tomas Drobik is Lecturer at Ostrava University, Ostrava, Czech Republic, and a member of the Centre of Political and Cultural Geography. His main areas of research are critical geopolitics and the contemporary Islamic world with a special focus on political Islam and its geopolitical representations. Monika Sumberova is Lecturer at the University of Ostrava, Ostrava, Czech Republic, and member of the Centre of Political and Cultural Geography. In research activities she concentrates on the influence of culture in international relations, the processes of socialization in international relations, and geopolitical representations.
