China Born in 1980s - Does Their Fortune Run Out?

In recent years, a newly created word appeared in the Chinese language, ba ling huo, which refers to the people, who were born in the 1980s. In Chinese society, this generation became a social problem because the older generations and mass media blamed them although they are the first generation under single-child policy. This book analyses this social problem and uses two measures to determine whether the 80s generation ran out of luck, to define their relationship with China, to discuss their future and what they can do in their future, to determine reasons why the 80s generation suddenly find themselves out-of-favour in Chinese society, and to explore the Chinese culture, Chinese tradition and Chinese civilisation's role in the rise and fall of the 80s generation.
