An electric power system is a network of electrical components used to supply, transmit and use eelctric power. The book "Computational Methods for Electric Power Systems" is an introductory overview of computational methods used for analytical studies in power systems and other engineering and scientific fields. As power systems increasingly operate under stressed conditions, techniques such as computer simulation remain integral to control and security assessment. The text is divided into ten chapters. In first chapter, a fuzy-interval possibilistic programming (FIPP) method is developed for supporting sustainable electric power system (EPS) planning with carbon emission abatement under uncertainty. Second chapter assess the impact of electric-drive vehicles (EDVs) on power system reliability. A stochastic simulation-optimization model (SSOM) has been developed in third chapter for planning electric power systems (EPS) under uncertainty. Fourth chapter presents a comprehensive model and characterization of the advanced aircraft electric power systems (AAEPS) with a hybrid fuel cell (FC)/battery auxiliary power unit (APU).
