The 20th century has seen the creation and evolution of technologies that enable the digital presentation of knowledge and have vastly increased the speed with which information can be captured and processed. Communication technologies have also made possible the storage, transfer and sharing of information across great distances and time zones. This text focuses upon the processes, techniques and tools being used to successfully plan, implement and operate distance learning projects.
