Fighting Terrorism: From Nixon to Obama

This book provides an updated overview of the counterterrorism related developments, actions, and programs during the Obama and previous administrations. This book will describe these developments and also provide excerpts from and links to the key statements, documents and Congressional testimony that flesh out the policies and programs of the U.S. government’s counterterrorism efforts during the Obama administration. Examples include an overview of major terrorism events, such as the terrorist bombings of the Marine Barracks and embassy facilities in Lebanon in the 1980’s, the killing of Bin Laden, and the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.
