Fundamental Physics An Introduction

Develops the basic principles and laws of fundamental physics and presents in two parts i.e. Macroscopic and Microscopic Physics.In part one, all relevant aspects concerning macroscopic properties as Mechanics, Rigid body dynamics, Special theory of relativity, Elasticity, Light waves, Lasers and also the Basic thermodynamics, its laws and applications are discussed in easily understandable simple mathematical formulations.In the second part, amongst various important microscopic aspects discussed, care has been taken to present the intricate concepts particularly in statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics and semiconductor Physics in a lucid way best acceptable for the students.Every chapter is followed by references for further reading.
