Signal processing is an enabling technology that encompass the fundamental theory, applications, algorithms, and implementations of processing or transferring information contained in many different physical, symbolic, or abstract formats broadly designated as signals. This book "Handbook of Signal Processing" contains nine chapters. First chapter describes the signal segmentation using moving average and Savitzky-Golay Filter. In second chapter, we present an information securing method using chaos encryption. The performance of chirplet signal decomposition and empirical mode decomposition coupled with Hilbert spectrum have been evaluated in third chapter. Fourth chapter proposes a multi-band speech enhancement algorithm exploiting iterative processing for enhancement of single channel speech. Fifth chapter highlights the multichannel speech signal extraction and separation techniques. Signal processing for light imaging has been described in sixth chapter. Seventh chapter focuses on feature extraction techniques of nonsataionary signals for fault diagnosis in machinery systems. The new precision peak detector of input sinusoidal signals is presented in eight chapter. Last summaries the Holographic signal processing.
