His trademark is simplicity of form and material composition, and an ironic attitude to objects in the surrounding world. Critical, radical and with an irresistible sense of humour, Marti Guixe is evolutionizing the world of design with his conspicuously naive presentation of apparently commonplace articles. The Kitchen-Buildings Project, specially designed for the mu.dac exhibition in Lausanne, consists of mobile structures for the most universal of all activities: the cooking and preparation of food. It will also be on show at the "Experimenta Design 2003" in Lisbon. This is also the first comprehensive survey of Guixe's creations. It presents largely unpublished material, featuring numerous drawings and sketches by Guixe and explanatory comments.
