Lectiones Memorabiles

Taoka presents Latin texts for advanced high school or intermediate college level students of Latin who are preparing for the International Baccalaureate examinations in History and Good Living. She introduces each piece by setting it in historical and literary context, and provides marginal glosses and clarifications of the Latin and commentary on the content. The History texts are from Tacitus' Annales and Suetonius' Tiberius.
