Lloyd's Maritime Atlas of World Ports and Shipping Places

Aimed at those in shipping and related industries, including insurance and education, with a need for up-to-date information on the precise location of all the major and minor ports and shipping places throughout the world. This text provides a comprehensive and user-friendly atlas containing full colour maps of all the world's commercial ports region. There are three sections of maps: world maps, ocean maps and port maps where particular emphasis is given to the busiest shipping areas by the inclusion of larger scale detail maps. Now in its 20th edition, the atlas has been updated and expanded to incorporate new ports as well as additional information on distances between ports, major commercial canal and river systems, weather conditions at sea and load line zones. It features over 130 new ports and shipping places, expanding the port facility information in the geographic index to over 3000 ports. Several new maps have been added, including maps of major European canals.
