Multispectral Image Processing and Pattern Recognition

Nine papers present recent research on techniques for image processing and recognition, and on their practical application. Among the topics: image characterization by geometrical and orthogonal moments, a minimum description length method for facet matching, the detection of sea surface small targets in infrared images, and extraction of bibliographic information from the color image on a book cover.
