Nuclear Chemistry

Nuclear chemistry is a subfield of chemistry dealing with radioactivity, nuclear processes and nuclear properties. It studies radioactive elements, and works with the equipment (such as nuclear reactors) designed to perform nuclear processes. Nuclear chemistry also advances the understanding of medical treatments (such as cancer radiotherapy), allowing these treatments to improve.
