Participatory Management of Natural Resources

New priorities in the international agenda, such as conservation of forest carbon, will provide fresh opportunities to use forests as an asset to reduce poverty, although challenges will remain concerning their sustainability and conservation. This book discusses key issues related to forests and rural development with representatives from Mesoamerica rural organizations and participants in the event.
