Psychology in Perspective

This text reorganizes the traditional material according to the five major perspectives in the field (biological, learning, cognitive, sociocultural and psychodynamic), offering an unbiased presentation of each perspective's strengths, limitations and weaknesses. Whilst specifically dealing with each perspective, the authors also emphasize the importance of understanding all as part of the big picture of human experience. Case studies illustrate the various techniques and points of view within this developing field.
