In addition, it includes information on artifacts that can be created by the apparatus. The book includes a gallery of medical devices with an extensive pictorial presentation of the various devices themselves. Each chapter presents the appearances that are found with the various imaging modalities, as well as abnormal appearances that may be encountered. An extensive glossary helps the reader to use correct terms in describing the findings, and the appendixes offer a list of manufacturers, standard catheter sizes, and the newest Federal Drug Administration guidelines concerning reporting device dangers.
