ISDN From Concept to Application is an introductory text intended to present the concepts of the ISDN to technologists, managers and students in sufficient detail for them to understand the more technical and detailed material available. Although widespread implementation of ISDNs has only recently started, the ITU-T recommendations and related national standards are now complete to the extent that national and international interworking is possible and ISDN terminal equipment can be designed, manufactured, tested and installed with some degree of confidence.
