Singularities - Kagoshima 2017: Proceedings of the 5th Franco-Japanese-Vietnamese Symposium on Singularities

"The Fifth Franco-Japanese-Vietnamese Symposium on Singularities (The 5th FJV 2017) was held at Kagoshima University, in Kagoshima, Japan during the period of October 27-November 3, 2017. It was the 5th symposium aiming at research communication between French, Japaneseand Vietnamese mathematicians working in Singularity Theory. The symposium presented recent advances and perspectives in Geometry and Topology of Singularities, Algebraic Geometry of Singular Varieties and Applications of Singularity Theory. ... For the first time in the series of Franco-Japanese-Vietnamese, Franco Japanese, Franco-Vietnamese or Japanese-Vietnamese conferences, a minischool, which was mainly for young mathematicians, was organized during the period of October 27-28 before the main conference (October 29-November 3). ...
