Solid Waste Management

Solid waste amounts to the largest part of waste produced in the world. Therefore, its management and disposal is necessary. Solid waste management is a process through which waste present is collected, transported, treated and disposed. The two most widely used and popular ways to dispose waste are incineration and land filling. A large amount of the waste is also recycled. Some of ways of recycling the waste are pyrolysis, energy recovery, resource recovery and biological reprocessing.
