The second edition of this reference presents practical reviews of diseases and clinical problems, with the emphasis on diagnosis and treatment of those likely to be encountered in daily practice. The text is divided into three sections: clinical problems, laboratory abnormalities, and diseases. Diagnostic algorithms are used extensively in the first two sections, and there is an appendix which includes a drug formulary, toxicology tables, chemotherapy protocols, normal laboratory values, conversion tables, and parasite identification tables.
