The Cancer Handbook

"The Cancer Handbook" is a two-volume reference work that provides a comprehensive overview of cancer research and oncology. It is a reference resource that deals with both the scientific and clinical disciplines of cancer. It contains over 100 chapters each of which is approximately 10-15 pages (5000-14,500 words) in length. International editors have selected over 200 contributors, drawn from the international biomedical community, to provide up-to-date information on all aspects of cancer. Fields covered include molecular and cellular basis of cancer, causation and prevention, diagnostic and investigative procedures, systemic oncology and pre-clinical models of cancer treatment.
